For the past few weeks, Zann has been sleeping with her cooking toys.
I thought it’s safer to keep while she’s asleep. I even keep them in different containers. But she can wake up in the middle of night and put them back, knowing which are the exact ones.
Anyway, I give up keeping these toys already.
Lunch at Old Town
December 5, 2010This year’s Dec is slightly different. Besides having Christmas and Zann’s birthday, Daddy won’t be around for two weeks. Because he has to be in camp and won’t be coming back on the weekdays.
We had our lunch at Old Town Coffee today, which is Daddy’s favourite joint. I love their white coffee. I told Daddy I will come back to OTC again. 
Since Zann isn’t particularly fond of spicy food, she had her Mc Donald’s kids meal instead.
It’s a week away from Zann’s birthday, Daddy decided to get something from Toys R Us. Guess what greeted us when we went in? There was a beyblade tournament. It’s the latest toy sensation among the boys. But the girl was attracted to it as well.
I told Daddy no need to look around because she has found something she likes. True enough, she asked for the toy.
So what is beyblade? In simple terms, it is a spinning top with a metal outer layer.

So there’s no surprise from Daddy after all. The girl got her wish granted in advance. While mine was still sitting around somewhere hidden.
She calls it Ali baba fire engine…

Despite staying together for the last four years, Zann never received anything from them. Now that we have shifted out, things became different. I don’t know why. Nevertheless, the girl didn’t forget to say 谢谢舅舅 ! 
Rent that toy !

It’s my first time renting a toy for Zann. And I rented from Rent-that-Toy. Look what I got for her? The lovely kitchen set with a ‘built-in’ washing machine, microwave oven and ironing board as well. Wow, I am impressed. (I never had something like this in my childhood days). After all, Zann never owns such a ‘big’ toy before. For $35 a month, this is definitely economical.
And yes, Zann was so happy when she saw her ‘new’ toy. I am eyeing the mini slide and tricycle next.
The missing piece

I bought it during the last KL trip. Because of one missing piece, Zann couldn’t complete this puzzle. It’s my fault. I should have check first before leaving. 
A new identity

Everyone knows Tigger as the tiger with orange and black stripes. But in Zann’s eyes, her leopard soft toy has suddenly becomes ‘Tigger’. Nowadays when the cartoon starts, she would bring out the toy and points to me, “Mummy see…same.”
