The children’s christmas party

December 11, 2010

We headed down to the christmas party after swimming lesson today. Zann was a happy girl. She enjoyed her fun and saw her friends there as well. Best of all, there’s snow flakes, which may not be real, but at least the children were happy.

Zann was trying the mini street soccer.

The prizes for all the games.

The girl didn’t win any of the games but she still got the cake. :)

Candy floss cannot be missed!

Still finishing the last bits of the floss.

Zann  met her good friend,  Ashley from her class.

Clarissa, our ex neighbour.

Busy munching away the popcorns.

This was the best part which I guess the girl loves most. Enjoying the ‘snowing’ session with the  song,
Let it snow in the background. :D

Haa..this machine is good. It helps to make the children’s day.

Finally…

Our decorated Xmas tree is up !!!

The girl is feeling so excited. :D

Children’s Day party in neighbourhood

October 2, 2010

We attended the Children’s Day party in our neighbourhood for the second year. Zann cried because she didn’t win anything from the lucky draw. It took me awhile to pacify her to return home.

Mid Autumn Festival

September 22, 2010

It’s August 15th according to the Lunar calender and it is a time for celebration.

Our loot this year is still the same. The durian moonies from Goodwood Park. We also bought Bengwawan Solo’s Strawberry snowskin moonies for Zann. She loves her PINK moonies so much.

After dinner, we had a little fun with the lanterns I bought for Zann.

The two paper lanterns were burnt. Luckily we still have a spare one.  So we took a walk with her bunny lantern in the park.

端午节快乐 !

Zann loves it. She had her first try this year. All of us prefer the nyonya type.

Dine out

May 11, 2010

We had our dinner at Sakura for the first time. Their teppanyaki chicken and dory are nice. The best part of  the buffet had to be the desserts. Zann had more than one serving.

Zann and 外婆

We chatted.

We drank.

And even sang hokkien songs together.

If only there were cantonese songs. :)

Chinese New Year Celebrations

February 19, 2010

There was a Chinese New Year celebration in the centre today. Zann went to school in her ethnic costume.

I was also curious about K1 and K2 ‘s buffet lunch and lo-hei, plus the best dressed winner.

If I didn’t have to leave for work, I wish I could just stay with Zann for awhile longer. Before leaving, I told her we will have dinner outside today.

Just me and her.

Happy Children’s Day !

CNY: Day 1

January 28, 2009

So, Chinese New Year came and went, though not exactly cos there are still twelve days to go. Day 1 was spent with my paternal grandmother at aunt’s place. I suggested taking a photo togther before we leave. I didn’t quite remember taking such a big family photo together, so I will treasure it definitely. Everyone is present except my parents and Fourth Uncle’s family.

We had dinner with Fifth Uncle’s family at the airport which was the only place that’s opened for business.
