Food quality is good with prompt service. Needless to say, we love their xiao long baos.
I wish I knew there is a children’s playarea in Nex’s sky garden. It’s like a miniwild wild wet.
Because of the unexpected rain, the girl had her limited play time at the playground area.
Before we left the place, mummy wanted to look for a long-time friend, Eileen.
Hi-tea buffet with friends
December 26, 2010It’s eating session with great company of two girlfriends!
Me, Huizhen and Meifern are a big fan of buffet. So we meet up again for a hi-tea buffet at Zhou’s kitchen. It’s our first time, and unfortunately, I didn’t really like it other than it’s affordable price. Their service and attitude sucks. The food was so-so, but we didn’t manage to finish all.
We made our way to the newly opened NEX. Oh my, the place was so packed. It’s even worse than Tampines Mall ! I think I am not going back again.
The children’s christmas party
December 11, 2010We headed down to the christmas party after swimming lesson today. Zann was a happy girl. She enjoyed her fun and saw her friends there as well. Best of all, there’s snow flakes, which may not be real, but at least the children were happy.

The girl was happy to see Denzer Gor Gor again.
It’s good and heartening to see how well they play together.
Huizhen told me that she hasn’t been on a trip for 7 years. Not even her boys either. They feel contented with their simple frugal life, simple stuffs which they can afford.

Baking fun with the children

We (Meifern, Huizhen and I) had arranged a baking session at Huizhen’s place with the children. Zann was so happy when I told her. The girl woke up even earlier than me, urging me to leave the house fast.
Zann and Denzer helped to spoon the ready batter (prepared by us) into the muffin tray.
Cupcakes with no cream or icing topping. Huizhen suggested rainbow chips as healthier option. Lesser sugar content. better for the children.
I was on less-carbs diet so I gave my share to Zann.

Do they look like good friends ? It’s a good thing that Zann clicked well with the boys.
We all had a wonderful get together session. All of us enjoyed the sweet treats nevertheless. I look forward to the next one again.
Sunday fun at the theme park
October 18, 2010Zann and I, together with Meifern and her nephews had a wonderful time at the theme park. We had originally planned to go Wild Wild Wet too but Zann wasn’t keen to go. So I decided we shall join in after her nap.
Both Zann and I were drenched after playing this. 
Lesson to learn: MUST bring raincoat to play.
The girl insisted the first seat.
Zann was so happy when I told her we would be going to the theme park. The girl simply loves all the ride. She was gamed to try the scary pirate ship and haunted house. I almost wanted to puke after the pirate ship ride.
This was Zann’s favourite. I was trying my hardest not to let her near it because I wasn’t keen to sit on that. But the girl wouldn’t hear of it. In the end, she went in alone by herself. I guess the fun part was ‘flying’ around in the skies.
The kids saw one another for the first time in the evening at Mummy KF’s chalet.
All the balloons were full of saliva before they were blown.

Zann was mistaken for ‘gor gor’ by Violet. We all had a good laugh.
I reached home only to realise I had a big bruise on my spine. *Ouch* It became so painful when Daddy helped to rub ointment for me. Seriously, I couldn’t recall where I got it from. Was it those rides?
Sunday with good food and friends
October 5, 2010Loving this meal with friends I have not seen for a long time. The get-togethers, the laughter and the jokes we used to share. Simple joy.
Good dim sum with super yummy pastries and dessert at Min Jiang, Goodwood Park Hotel !
The ambience is good enough for me to patronize this place again. *wink*
Zann joined me later for dinner at her favourite joint, SW. Because Daddy had a wedding dinner to attend. All the shots were taken by Meifern.

Catching up after 17 years….

One photo brings back so much memories and (almost) everyone tagged in facebook.
Reminiscing those happy memories are a great way to remember the carefree nonsensical moments we all had back then in school.
It was a good catching up session for the class of 4E4 ….after 17 years…
I still miss the past in a way I have never quite missed before.
