Daddy was going off on a working trip so we had our early lunch at T2’s Swenson. Zann was so happy upon seeing her favourite spaghetti served.
A special occasion

It marked a special occasion today, so daddy brought us out for a dinner. Daddy said he like the chicken sukiyaki I had introduced him and he wanted to try it again. So we were back to the usual not-so-crowded Sakae again.
Fun-filled day at the Zoo

Zann woke up at 8am today. We had a cake cutting session together. After that failed attempt to bake a chocolate cake, I decided to order one. She also received her present from Angel jie jie and Zanden di di.
Daddy and myself have planned to bring Zann to the Zoo. My last trip was donkey years ago. Now that Zann is 3yo, I guess she will be more interested to see the animals and understand better. Fortunately, the weather was good, making it perfect to spend a day there. (Click here to see the photos)
The trip was fruitful cos we have covered almost the whole area. And of cos not forgetting the highlight, Rainforest Kidzworld.
Zann didn’t manage to explore the water play area cos I didn’t want her to get wet. When we went in to the kampung house, she was afraid to explore further. I think the mannequins inside looked creepy. She prefers the Pets Corner where it offers carriage and pony rides. There are goats, bunnies and guinea pigs too. Interesting. Before we left, she had a ride at the wild animals carousel. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. One important lesson I have learnt was to bring ointment for mosquito bites, which I have forgotten.
Movie again

We brought Zann to watch Bolt today. It’s better than Wall-E. So many cute animals especially Rhino the hamster. At least Zann could sit longer this time. She even shouted ‘bolt’ many times in the cinema.
It’s wild wild wet time

Upon reaching the place, just when I was about to make her get changed, Zann started to cry bitterly. She was telling me she was afraid. I had a hard time persuading and coaxing her. Even telling her that I am not leaving her alone in the pool, she still refused to comply. All these lasted more than 30mins.
A friendly uncle who saw us, suggested that I could bring Zann to the 0.1m playground pool which suits her age. Indeed it was. I managed to change her mind. And from there, she started to have fun in the water.
Lunch at Ikea

We had an early lunch at Ikea today. Yes, we went there just to eat. Wanted to order spaghetti for Zann but it was sold out. Didn’t know it sell fast. Surprisingly, Zann didn’t want to eat the Princess cake which is her favourite. But she managed to finish the meatballs instead.

So what’s the best way to spend on ? On food of course. Dinner was at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng.
It was supposed to be a dinner date with Cousin Stephen and his family. But he couldn’t make it at dinner time. Ended up we met for supper. Only after we parted, I realised I have forgotten to take photos with them!
I have been eating more than usual during these past few days, piling on the calories which I don’t wish to know. But all in all, it was a great trip. Is KL considered far away from S’pore? Because this was my second time to KL, the last time was like more than 20 years ago, tagging along with my parents. The fact that I have not seen my cousins for so many years even made this trip a memorable one. Although I am not sure if I will attend another cousin’s wedding next month. Still, I appreciate the time they took to accompany me.
Of that push car stroller

When I saw this big signboard in One-U which says, Kiddy Ride, I thought it was the battery-operated type. So I suggested letting Zann have a try. Only to realise later that it was a push car stroller at RM3. We were reminded to return the car at 9.30pm. Ok, not a bad idea though, we thought. But after an hour, we decided to return the car stroller. Because it was so troublesome pushing around the mega mall.
