That’s Zann’s glittering hat made from recycled paper.

We did craftwork today. Zann was so excited upon hearing that we would be doing paper teddy bear. Yes, it’s a paper teddy bear stuffed with newspaper. A good way to include recycle in play.
I left her to prepare our lunch, while she was doing coloring after I have cut the bear shapes. I had to cook a quick lunch for I knew she would be watching TV while waiting for me.

She didn’t forget that stuffed teddy bear at night. She even ‘tucked’ it to sleep with her favourite kitty hankie!

I had actually kept the empty cereal box for quite awhile. And I decided to use it in today’s craftwork. I copied the idea from enchantedlearning. Zann was so excited in making her puppet theatre.
I have planned to do only craftwork with Zann this evening. She was enjoying dressing the dolls. While I was cutting the grass shape, she was busy pasting what I have prepared for her.

After finishing with the craftwork, she took out the worksheets I have printed from internet. I was surprised that she wanted to do letterings today.

Doing the letter C is an easy and happy task for her because she loves cat. She even brought out her favourite ‘meow’ (which she calls it) soft toy and placed it on the chair.
I went through the alphabets (which she has learnt so far) with her. She’s still in a guessing stage even though she managed to get some of the alphabets correctly.

We did a simple craft work today.
Does using a toilet roll as art and craft material sound unhygienic ? Zann made an ‘eeek’ sound when she saw it on the table. I have to assure her that it’s clean before she can accept it.
She calls it a bird while I name it as Chicken Roll. Whatever it is, I think she’s quite pleased with her work.

Zann showed me what she did in her class today. Finally. Now that she is ‘promoted’ to nursery class and this is her first piece of work she brought back. Hopefully, there will be more to come.
She pronounced the names of every animals correctly except tortoise.
