I signed Zann up for the Eco Crafts sessions organised by Panasonic and OMY.sg. The girl was feeling excited when I told her the items we would be making, by recycling the stuffs we can find at home. It’s been such a long time ever since she did craftwork. I missed those days especially now that I am spending such little time with her.
Lunch was at Zann’s favourite joint, Sakae Sushi
My curry beef Udon !
We made our way to the workshop after lunch.
Almost forgot how to go to Rendevous Hotel.
The materials we brought from home for the craft work.
Warming up with the host, Joanne Marie-Sim, by playing Scissors-Paper-Stone.
Our first craftwork, the pen holder.
By using paper cup, unwanted CLEAN sock and fabric glue.
Next was the, T-shirt cushion, by using the cotton stuffing provided by the workshop.
I wonder where to buy this from? Daiso ?
The kids need to give their pillow a name and shared it with everyone.
Zann’s turn to go up the stage. She didn’t manage to tell everyone her Tshirt pillow’s name. Later the girl told me she wanted to name her pillow, Mr Cloudy.
Our last craft work, using old magazine papers.
The happy kids posing with their pillows.
Before we left, not forgetting to take a snapshot with the host, Joanne-Marie Sim.
We love our simple environmental crafts we made today especially the Tshirt pillow.
