Saying ‘f’

To reinforce Zann’s speech development at home, I used ice cream sticks. To make her hear how f sounds, we just have to use this exaggerated method.

To produce F sound , top teeth on bottom lip and blow through the teeth to feel the air coming out.

Hi Cendrine, do not practice this method often; it may hurt the teeth and gum development of a child if he/ she bits real hard onto the stick unintentionally for a period of time ;P

cendrine: I ll take note of that, thanks papa eric. That’s why I need to show Zann the correct way. This method was taught by Dr Marie Daniels, Zann’s speech therapist.

Oic, in that case should be alright with the specialist guidance. Just make sure the ice cream stick is secure through lips and not the teeth I guess.
