Grandma’s version: Cabbage rice with lap cheong

cabbagerice

Simple homecooked dish. Simple bliss.

I told my grandmother that I misses her (my favourite) glutinous rice. She came over today, wanted to impart me her steps of cooking this one pot dish. But we didn’t manage to get the roasted pork belly because the stall was closed. So in the end, she decided to cook cabbage rice with lap cheong instead.
