Sigh…

Today Zann’s class had a little mid autumn festival celebration.
Which she didn’t manage to attend.

Both Zann and myself are sick again. Her cough has already started last night. It was the phlegm that caused her having difficulty to sleep. Throughout the night, she kept coughing and tossing around. For me, I thought nothing of the itch when it started to develop in my throat last night. Until this morning, the fever came.

Doctor said no more mooncakes for us. Time to drink more water. `

I had a hard time getting Amos to drink those bottles of medicine too until my helper came up with the idea of putting them inside ribena (his favourite drink). Now feeding him medicine is such a breeze. You may want to try it. I checked with the doctor & they say it is fine if it does help :)

Btw, if your gal has cough, try not to give her candies (in your case mashmallow), it will worsen the condition.

cendrine: oh ok. thanks Mummy Janice :)

hmmm…I know how hard it can be if the kid refused to take medication, ‘cos my niece is like that. she needs 3 person whenever its medication time, to hold her down.
1 hold the hands, 1 hold the legs and 1 force open her mouth and feed her the medicine….

and when you are sick too…hmmm…there goes the patience to get it done …

    take care girl…
try to drink more WARM water to dilute the phlegm so that its easier for her at night, cos phlegm increases as temperature decreases at night…

    take care girl…

    Hi cendrine,
thks for dropping a comment on my blog. Care to share and interchange link?
Thk God my kids dont have much problem taking their medicine except that I have to pretend to pur back a little into the bottle each time for my 4 nad 3 yrs old gals..or else they will keep saying “pour back mummy, pour back..dnt want so much! Then I also have to bluff and say the white one is lychee, pink one strawberry, red one cherry, black one sarsi, etc.
