I spent the weekend with Zann at home. My plan to bring her out was cancelled because she was having a high fever for both days. Neither did she want to eat nor drink these two days because of the the pain caused by the inflamed tonsils. She was crying bitterly when I gave her water and some fruits. The swallowing was the painful part now that she has tonsillitis. A lot of times, she would just point her throat and cried, “Pain, Pain.” My heart ached upon hearing this.

For the past 2 nights, I woke up more than usual to check her temperature, sponging her, making sure that that she had her medicine on time. This morning, her temperature has gone down. For now, her throat still hurts badly.
We did some drawings together in the afternoon. I asked her to draw face, eyes, mouth and hair…and well, she did, by herself. Her motor skills has improved.
