Sometimes I wish for peace.
Sometimes I wish for co-operation.
Sometimes I wish to be alone.
But, it doesn’t turn out to what I was hoping for.
She saw the strawberry milk in the fridge and pointed it to me.
“U want to drink is it ?”
She nodded her head, eagerly. I wasn’t prepared when she snatched the bottle from me. She wanted to pour out the milk by herself. In the end, both of us were struggling with the bottle, and the milk was spilled.
I felt so frustrated and annoyed.
” CAN U LISTEN TO MUMMY or not ?! “
It didn’t end there. I turned around and wasn’t in time to stop her.
Her un-finished remaining dinner landed on the floor.
It’s only Monday. And I surrendered. I have lost.

Would u believe that i experience all these while working as a daycare teacher too? Haha… and it happens in every classroom. Sometimes its rice… sometimes milo… and even cereal drink. The maid gets real exasperated of course. But heck they are kids. My mom used to reprimand me when i accidentally dropped things but come to think of it i never meant to drop them.
So now when my students drop their food i get the cloth and wipe it up… deliberately showing alot of effort and back ache so that they’ll offer to help out too.
